It is always a hard crash to a PC reboot. Should I just wait and see if they bother putting out a patch or just give up? If it was just a game crash I would be less bothered but it crashes windows (windows 10 64bit) and I sit through the full restart. Sometimes it is walking out of a store in Hogsmead, loading a new scene, and sometime is it walking in the forest or walking around the RoR. It is frustrating to play as I find myself saving the game after any meaningful event as I never seem to know when a crash will come. I have tried removing the overclocks and nothing seems to have changed. I have 64 GB Ram and an 850w power supply. I have a 3900x and a 5700xt - both water cooled so they are not getting hot and after lowering the graphics setting the GPU is only running at 80-85% and using around 6GB of the VRAM out of the 8 available. My crashed are not consistent events in game and may come after an hour or game play or in the first five minutes. I have tried turning down the graphics setting, closing any background programs, verifying the files, updating the drivers, running the game on an SSD and running as an administrator.
I have been enjoying Hogwarts but it has an annoying issue of crashing my PC and it doing a full reboot at what seems to be random times.
